At Present the DOPH still uses the manual-based system of collecting, storing, and retrieving the patient’s information. This manual-based system causes redundancy in their operation and delays in the delivery of health acre services. Apparently there is a need for an electronic way of recording patients’ information. This will help optimize the collection and storage and thus, greatly saves time and human effort


The Davao Oriental Provincial Hospital is now on its more than 25 years of providing healthcare services. Its Out-Patient Department helps expand its specialty in health programs and services. Currently, the Out-Patient Department employs OPD staffs who directly interact with the patients’ needs and requirements.
